The Jima Waterfalls are located in the outskirts of the city of Bonao, less than an hour and a half from the city of Santo Domingo, and right at the foot of the Caribbean’s tallest mountain range. We embark on a soft hike through a nature trail that takes us through the heart of the rainforest, along the trail lie many natural pools, all perfect for taking a relaxing swim before reaching our final destination, a magnificent 50 foot tall waterfall.
