Our Emerald Coast tour from Santo Domingo takes you to the beautiful area of Nagua, Cabrera, and Rio San Juan, or also known as “The Emerald Coast”. See the beautiful landscapes of ‘Cabo Francés’ with it’s breathtaking panoramic views, visit the majestic “El Saltadero” Waterfall and see the locals jump off the top (about 100 feet tall), visit and swim at the spectacular and little known Caleton Beach, swim in the cool waters of the mystical Dudu Lagoon. Enjoy the relaxing private boat ride through the Gri Gri Lagoon and out to the Atlantic ocean, a sanctuary for enormous red mangrove trees and an important nesting site for coastal birds. Finally we have a delicious Dominican style lunch at a charming local family restaurant. All this makes for a great, off the beaten path, tour to one of our favorite parts of the Dominican Republic.
