Our Los Haitises National Park and Cayo Levantado Island private boat tour from Santo Domingo takes you to explore the wonders of Los Haitises National Park our largest and most important parks, on our tour of this magical forest whose unique geography can only be compared to one other place in the world: the world famous Halong Bay National Park in Vietnam. Our tour of this immense nature preserve has something to offer everyone: an amazing boat ride through the largest mangrove forest in the Caribbean, visits to a spectacular cave filled with Taino Indian art, amazing wildlife observation, and finally a chance to then spend some time at the spectacular beach found on Cayo Levantado Island.
This beautiful tropical island is located just off the shores of the Peninsula of Samana and is home to great panoramic views of the bay and the surrounding mountains. Here we are able to enjoy a delicious, typical Dominican style lunch prepared by locals, and enjoy some free time on the beach before we head back to port. This tour showcases 2 of the amazing highlights of the Samana region.
